Tomorrow, Wednesday November 20th, the House Financial Services Committee (HFSC) will mark up six bills regarding the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), including legislation to replace the Director with a five-person commission (H.R. 2446), to strengthen the review authority of the Financial Stability Oversight Council over the CFPB (H.R. 3193), and to subject the CFPB to the annual appropriations process (H.R. 3519). The mark up begins at 10:00 a.m. in 2128 Rayburn.
