FIO's Michael McRaith Will Speak with Attendees of ABIA's Washington Forum

We are pleased to announce that Michael McRaith, Director of the Federal Insurance Office will speak at the ABIA Washington Forum to be held Wednesday, February 26 in Washington DC.

Michael joins a strong lineup of speakers that includes the following:
  • Dan Smith, Assistant Director of the Office of Financial Institutions and Business Liaison at Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).
  • Congressman Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) will address flood insurance and the Affordable Care Act. 
  • Congresswoman Carolyn B. Maloney (D-NY) serves on the House Financial Services Committee, cosponsored HR 508 on TRIA and will also address flood insurance and other topics. 
  • Senator David Vitter (R-LA) serves on the Senate Banking Insurance Subcommittee and is a leader in flood insurance reform. He can also address the Senate Banking Committee's legislative priorities, including TRIA reauthorization, the recent report from the Federal Insurance Office and producer licensing (NARAB). 
  • Congressman Michael Grimm (R-NY) serves on the House Financial Services Committee, cosponsored HR 508 on TRIA and sponsored HR 3370, the Homeowner Flood Insurance Affordability Act. 
  •  Chairman Randy Neugebauer (R-TX), with the House Financial Services Insurance Subcommittee will speak about the CFPB's regulations that impact insurance, the recent report from the Federal Insurance Office, flood insurance, producer licensing (NARAB) and TRIA. 
  • Senator Mike Johanns (R-NE), Ranking member of the Senate Banking Insurance Subcommittee, will address the CFPB's regulations that impact insurance, producer licensing (NARAB), TRIA, and the priorities of the Senate Banking Committee's Insurance Subcommittee.
